The Health Ministry in Egypt said Sunday that five people were killed and 16 more injured in the blast that rocked the vicinity of St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Abbasiya. 

Fourteen ambulances rushed to the scene of the explosion, the Ministry said.

The dead and injured were all moved to Dar el Shefaa and el Demerdash hospitals, it added
