A police officer was killed on Saturday when a police armoured vehicle overturned during a manhunt in Central Sinai.

The accident occurred in Hassna area after a tyre exploded, killing Major Ihab Lotfy.

The body was moved to Suez Hospital and prosecution was notified for investigations.
