At least six security men were killed on Friday when a bomb exploded at a security checkpoint in Cairo in the road leading to the Pyramids, official MENA news agency reported.
Two officers and four security men were killed, and other three policemen were injured in the blast, MENA quoted security officials sources as saying.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack that took place near by a mosque in Al Haram street leading to the Pyramids.
