Firefighters brought a fire at a wood storehouse in Sharqiya under control.

Large amounts of the stored wood were consumed by the flames but no human injuries were reported.

Five fire engines had rushed to the fire scene to put out the blaze before it extends to the nearby residential area.

The fire was probably caused by throwing a flaming object at the storehouse, built on 350 square meters. Its owner did not accuse anyone.

The public prosecution is investigating the case.
