A Ukrainian plane flying to Equatorial Guinea crashed near the airport in the desert town of Tamanrasset south of Algiers, the Algerian Transport Ministry said on Saturday.
The Antonov-12 cargo plane, which took off from an airport in Scotland with oil equipment on board, was located 15 kilometers south of the air facility.
Up to seven charred human bodies were found at the wreckage scene.
