A 5.4-magnitude earthquake rattled an area near the Greek island of Gavdos Wednesday, seismologists said. The earthquake, with an epicenter about 5 miles deep, was felt to the north on the island of Crete, Greek Reporter reported. Officials said no damage or injuries were reported. Soon after, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded near the island of Milos in the southern Aegean Sea, officials said. Greek Reporter said no damage or injuries were reported after the second quake.
