Earthquake hits Algeria

An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale hit Tuesday at 9.00 a.m. the province of Blida (50 km south of Algiers), APS quoted the Research Centre in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG) as saying.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 3 km south of the locality of Chebli, said the source.
