A 4.9-magnitude earthquake jolted Chiba prefecture near Tokyo at around 5:59 p.m. Saturday, according to Japan Meteorological Agency. The epicenter was initially determined at 35.6 north latitude and 140.1 east longitude, with a depth of 80 kilometers. Strong tremor was felt in Tokyo. But no injuries were reported so far.
