A 4.9 magnitude earthquake hit Taiwan\'s eastern coast Thursday morning, China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) reported. The epicenter was monitored at 24.2 degrees north latitude and 121.7 degrees east longitude with a depth of 15 km near Hualien county, CENC said according to Chinese news agency (Xinhua). US Geological Survey however reported the quake of 5.1 magnitude. No losses were reported.
