An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 21:21:31 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 52.1447 degrees south latitude and 5.2037 degrees west longtitude.
