An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted Izu Islands, Japan at 14:18:47GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 411.77 km, was initially determined to be at 29.271 degrees north latitude and 139.3575 degrees east longitude.
