A 5.6-magnitude earthquake jolted the sea off Hualien, Taiwan at 8:19 p.m. Wednesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.@ The epicenter was monitored at 24.1 degrees north latitude and 122.3 degrees east longitude, and the focus of the quake was 8 kilometers deep, the center said in a statement. Tremor was felt in Taipei.
