An earthquake measuring 5 magnitude struck in central Italy on Thursday , the US Geological Survey said.

    The USGS said the quake was centred 51.5 km southeast of Perugia in central Italy. It was 10 km deep.

    An earthquake measuring 7.1 magnitude struck on Sunday areas near the town of Norcia in central Italy, which led to the destruction of many buildings and more than 15000 people were displaced.
