An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted 101km NE of Chichi-shima, Japan at 2014- 08-10 22:39:36 GMT on Sunday (2014-08-11 06:39:36 Beijing Time), the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 28.2 km, was initially determined to be at 27.7455 degrees north latitude and 142.9313 degrees east longitude.
