A 5-magnitude earthquake hit Shawan County, Tacheng Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Sunday, the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) reported.
The epicenter was monitored at 44.1 degrees north latitude and 85.7 degrees east longitude with a depth of four km, according to China's News Agency (Xinhua).
