A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Aketao County, Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region late on Saturday, the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) said.
The epicenter is located at 39.14 degrees north latitude and 74.26 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 6 km, according to China's (Xinhua) News Agency.
No damages or casualties were reported.
