An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Halmahera, Indonesia at 13:56:42 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 114.90 km, was initially determined to be at 1.3400 degrees north latitude and 128.1445 degrees east longitude.
