An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted 177km WSW of Sibolga, Indonesia at 16:34: 23 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 1.1472 degrees north latitude and 97.2944 degrees east longitude.
