An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted southern Sumatra in Indonesia on Wednesday, the US Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 68.20 km, was initially determined to be at 4.4366 degrees south latitude and 102.7342 degrees east longitude.
