An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted Negros - Cebu region, Philippines at 20:37:44 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 10.20 km, was initially determined to be at 10.1615 degrees north latitude and 123.3433 degrees east longitude.
