An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted Vanuatu at 20:05:50 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 40.90 km, was initially determined to be at 18.7813 degrees south latitude and 168.1136 degrees east longitude.
