- An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted 78km W of San Antonio de los Cobres, Argentina at 17:29:44 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 167.25 km, was initially determined to be at 24.2117 degrees south latitude and 67.0875 degrees west longitude.
