An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted Seram, Indonesia at 02:59:08 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 25.00 km, was initially determined to be at 2.9330 degrees south latitude and 129.2443 degrees east longitude.
