An earthquake of 5.7 magnitude hit Agadir, south Morocco, yesterday.
The earthquake’s epicenter is located in Aourir, north of Agadir, said the National Institute of Geophysics Institute, a body that belongs to the Moroccan Center for Scientific and Technical Research.
No casualties have been reported so far.
In 1960, a devastating earthquake struck Agadir killing around 15000 people and destroying most of the buildings.
