A 5.7-magnitude earthquake jolted 119 km Southwest of Panguna, Papua New Guinea at 00:00:58 Beijing time on Thursday (16:00:58 GMT on Wednesday), the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 7.1854 degrees south latitude and 154.8418 degrees east longitude.
