Earthquake in Papua New Guinea

An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted 58km SW of Taron, Papua New Guinea at 19: 28:18 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 50.86 km, was initially determined to be at 4.8421 degrees south latitude and 152.6614 degrees east longitude.
