A 5.9-magnitude undersea earthquake rocked West Sumba district in West Nusa Tenggara province in south-central Indonesia early Thursday, according to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The agency said that the epicenter of the quake which struck on Thursday morning was located 271 km southwest of West Sumba at a depth of 10 km, according to Indonesia’s (ANTARA) News Agency. There was no immediate report of casualties or material damage.
