An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted Tonga at 0448 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 43.30 km, was initially determined to be at 16.1932 degrees south latitude and 173.8488 degrees west longitude.
