5.9 magnitude quake strikes off coasts of Chile

A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck off early today the coast of Chile , the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS)

A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck off early today the coast of Chile , the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) announced, reporting no material damage or human losses. 

The epicentre of the quake was located 71km southwest of Iquique, Chile, at a depth of 7.3 km, USGS said.
