An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted 31 km east-northeast of Amatignak Island, Alaska on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said. The epicenter, with a depth of 4.0 km, was initially determined to be at 51.4073 degrees north latitude and 178.7134 degrees west longitude.
