An earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale jolted 102 km southeast of Ifalik, Micronesia, the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Wednesday. The epicenter, with a depth of 16.0 km, was initially determined to be at 6.6 degrees north latitude and 145.1 degrees east longitude, the USGS reported on its website.
