An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale jolted 126km SSE of Punta de Burica, Panama at 2014-05-13 06:35:23 GMT on Tue (2014-05-13 14:35:23 Beijing Time), the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 33.0 km, was initially determined to be at 6.975 degrees north latitude and 82.441 degrees west longitude.
