A 6-magnitude earthquake rumbled off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. There were no initial reports of damage, several media outlets said. The earthquake, about 25 miles deep, was about 27 miles west of Cardinal, 37 miles northwest of Santa Cruz in Costa Rica, and about 107 miles south of Managua, Nicaragua, the USGS said.
