An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale jolted South Indian Ocean at 11:11:00 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 7.06 km, was initially determined to be at 10.0565 degrees south latitude and 91.0562 degrees east longitude.
