An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale jolted 245 km south of Punta de Burica, Panama at 0507 GMT Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 5.828 degrees north latitude and 82.6523 degrees west longitude. There're no initial reports on casualties or property damage.
