A 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck eastern Indonesia today off Irian Jaya, without any damages reported so far, it was announced here.
The quake was recorded offshore, 51 miles south-southeast of the town of Manokwari, at a depth of 18.5 miles, said the Indonesian disaster mitigation agency, quoting the United States Geological, adding that the quake has no tsunami potential.
