Algiers - Sufian Si Yusuf
An earthquake measuring four on the Richter scale, hit the Batna region of Algeria on Tuesday evening. There have been no casualties or serious damage reported so far. According to a statement issued by the Algerian Centre for Research and Astronomy, an Earthquake hit at 18.53pm (local time) and measured four on the Richter scale. The statement added that the centre of the earthquake determined was 10 kilometres south-east of Nqaws city.
