An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale has today hit the Baba Monir township in the Iranian province of Fars.
The Seismological Center of the Tehran University’s Geophysics Institute said the earthquake occurred at 03: 24 local time.
Reportedly, the earthquake caused damage to houses in Baba Monir and several houses were destroyed.
There has not yet been report regarding the causalities.
