Nouakchott - MENA
Egypt and Mauritania have agreed in principle to establish a joint model farm in southern Mauritania, Egyptian ambassador in Nouakchott Ahmed Fadel Yacoub said on Friday.
Fadel made the announcement after his meeting with a delegation of the Egyptian Agriculture Ministry currently visiting Mauritania.
The ambassador said that Egypt will delegate required experts and send equipment and seeds to establish the farm.
He hoped that the project will be implemented soon, adding that a number of crops will be planted in the farm including wheat, vegetables and fruits.
