The cabinet under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab approved on Wednesday a presidential draft law to establish the general authority of natural reserves.

Before endorsing the bill, the cabinet has put into consideration the remarks made by the Defense and Finance Ministries.

The draft law comes at the time when natural reserves face great violations that affect their geological and geographical composition and lead to the deterioration of resources.
