An emergency warning is in place after the fire in the Springwood in the Australia\'s New South Wales (NSW) Blue Mountains flared up on Monday afternoon, the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) said in its Major Fire Updates. \"The fire has flared up in bushland between Chapman Road and Grose Road. Firefighters are working in the area,\"the FRS said. Residents in the area are advised to seek shelter if the fire impacts. Due to bush fire activity, there are numerous road closures around the area, the FRS warns. So far, emergency warnings are in place for the State Mine fire near Lithgow, the Springwood fire and a blaze at Balmoral Village in the Southern Highlands while firefighters are battling a large fire between Lithgow and the western side of the Blue Mountains. At least 200 homes have been lost in the NSW bushfires and fire authorities are concerned that the worst could still come, with weather conditions expected to deteriorate over the coming days.
