Head of European Union Delegation in Cairo ambassador James Moran has said he is ready to mediate in the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam talks, adding there is no European funding of the project.
Such talk of EU funding is mere nonsense, he said Sunday.
The EU is ready to exert efforts to boost dialogue over the Renaissance Dam, he added.
The statements came in a forum on the dearth of water, challenges and chances organized by the EU delegation in Cairo in cooperation with the ministry of irrigation.
