Overnight storms left several people injured and forced many out of their homes in northern Italy Sunday, according to local media. The storms caused flooding, landslides and power outages in the regions of Piedmont and Lombardy. Two campers were reported injured by falling trees in Verbania, near Lake Maggiore. The Ansa news agency also reported that dozens of people had to flee rising waters in the city. On Sunday, water stood at up to 20 centimetres in places. Multiple cars and roofs were reported damaged.
