Heavy rain will hit parts of northwest and north China over the next three days, accompanied by gales and hailstones, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said on Friday.
The NMC said the provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan will also see torrential rain from Friday to Sunday, with the precipitation expected to reach up to 120 mm.
Meanwhile, ongoing rain in most areas south of the Yangtze River will gradually weaken, but in some parts, the precipitation will reach 80 mm, according to the forecaster.
