A storm brought marble-sized hail to Sao Paulo, leaving some streets flooded or coated in white in Brazil’s biggest city. The Center for Emergency Management said Monday the storm had ended a dry period that caused historically low levels at the main dams that supply water to the city, the largest in South America. Sao Paulo residents were amused by the ice balls in their yards and gardens. Some told local media their children had never seen hail.
