The Red Sea Port of Hurghada was closed on Wednesday due to bad weather conditions.

Poor visibility promoted by sandstorms hitting Egypt as of Tuesday forced the closure of Hurghada port, spokesman for the Red Sea Ports Authority Abdel Rehim Moustafa said.

The port will be re-opened when weather improves, the spokesman added, noting that Safaga port was still closed for the same reason.
