Minister of Transport Lina Shabib met on Wednesday with a Thai delegation to discuss cooperation in artificial rainmaking as well as benefiting from the Thai expertise in this field.
During the talks which were attended by the Thai Ambassador to Jordan Pirya Khempon, the minister was briefed on the importance of this project for Jordan as well as mechanism of artificial rainmaking.
Head of the delegation said the project will have a positive impact on Jordan in the economic field and will increase storage in the Kingdom's dams as well as water for irrigation and agricultural purposes.
