The Civil Aviation authorities of Kuwait announced the suspension of air traffic today until further notification at Kuwait international airport due to low vision caused by strong sand winds currently sweeping the country.
Saleh Al-Faddaghi, the Director of Operations Department said in a statement that vision at the airport came to less than 200 meters, forcing the authority to close the airport before the domestic and foreign flights until the wind comes down and vision level improves.
