An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck an area near the town of Shanbeh in Bushehr province, Southern Iran, on Thursday. The epicenter of the quake was located in an area 51.61 degrees in longitude and 28.54 degrees in latitude, (IRNA) news agency reported citing the Seismological center of Bushehr province affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University.
