A magnitude-6 earthquake struck off the coast of Mexico on Sunday, dpa qouted US Geological Survey as reported. The quake took place at 1222 GMT at a depth of 25 kilometres, an estimated 29 kilometres south-south-west of Suchiate, Chiapas, Mexico.
